Written by David Benskin | 6/17/21 2:13 PM

Wealth Access continues to make investments in the development and extension of your mobile/digital client experience and the advisor and firm tools that help drive insights and efficiencies in your organization.

This release will automatically take place on Saturday, June 26th. Please note that these enhancements are configurable and will not alter your current configuration until you decide to enable them.

Product Updates

On-demand Portfolio Valuation

We recognize the specific role we play in delivering an exceptional digital experience to your clients by facilitating complete and transparent views into their financial well-being, including the ability to see impact to position and account values based on market conditions.

We are enhancing our digital reporting capabilities to include on-demand portfolio valuation across all the managed and held-away marketable equities and ETFs of a client’s portfolio to help better understand the impact of current market valuations on their investable portfolio. Both the client and the advisor portals will also have the ability to include CUSIP identifiers

Under the Portfolio tab in the Client Portal, users can now access a new screen titled ‘Market Pricing’ which will present updated position and account values based on 15-minute delayed pricing.  The screen will present the intraday price, $ and % changes in price from the previous business day, updated position values based on the new price and previous business day’s # of shares, and $ change in the position value.  We also include grouping capabilities by Account or Security, and summation at those respective levels.

This capability is available at the firm-wide level through an incremental subscription fee as part of our Enhanced Security Reporting offering.  If you are interested in learning more about this capability, please reach out to the Wealth Access Client Success team.

Zillow® Integration Update

We understand the value that Zillow® integration affords your end clients to provide property value estimates through the Zestimate® feature. We are excited to have relaunched our integration with Zillow® to help your clients determine their homes’ value as part of their overall balance sheet.  We wanted to outline some of the enhancements to our integration.

  • Zestimate® Value. The user selects a checkbox to view the Zestimate® value.  To use that value, the user will simply copy & paste the value into the Property Value textbox on the screen
  • Zillow® Hyperlink.  We have enhanced the screen with a new hyperlink that opens the Zillow® web page in a new window with the property address defaulted on the Zestimate® screen
  • Updating Values. Anytime your client wants to update the property value moving forward, the user can revisit this page through Edit Account in Managed Accounts and obtain a new Zestimate® value that can then be saved again in the Property Value textbox

New Account Opening

Wealth Access plays a unique role throughout the wealth management lifecycle from prospecting to client services to client digital engagement.  In 2020, we introduced prospecting capabilities to allow our client firms to introduce their Wealth Access digital technology to prospects to facilitate asset collection and to showcase innovation.

We are excited to extend our role in the wealth management lifecycle by supporting the New Account Opening workflow by enabling free receipt positions to be set up automatically in accounting systems.

Financial professionals will now have the ability to identify and select existing account positions to be used to fund a new account, and have those selections be transmitted automatically to the accounting system to facilitate the creation of free receipt positions.

This capability is initially targeted for the FIS TrustDesk accounting system and is available through an incremental subscription fee.

Wealth Access for CRM

A CRM system is often the primary user experience for financial professionals, especially individuals that lead in the front-end of the client journey. With Wealth Access representing the living balance sheet for all of your clients, our Wealth Access for CRM initiative will enhance your CRM experience by enabling transparent views into the financial balance sheet of clients and prospects.

We are excited to announce that we have completed development on our new Wealth Access for Salesforce.com app and it is currently in review by the Salesforce AppExchange team, with expected availability in the first half of Q3.

Through seamless data integration between Wealth Access and Salesforce.com, financial account-level information of a firm’s set of clients will flow nightly into the Financial Services Cloud (FSC) data store and made available across object records in Salesforce.com.
